Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District 23 and Groundwater
The drinking water supplied to the residents of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 23 (FBCMUD 23) is groundwater pumped from the Evangeline Aquifer using water wells. Groundwater is “the water found underground in the cracks and spaces in soil, sand, and rock.

With the community spending more time in the home and utilizing water, residents may be curious about the Groundwater Reduction Plan (GRP) and the related fees on residential water bills.
