House Watch Program
Going out of town for the Holidays?
Here is what you need to know to keep your home safe while you are away. The Board of Directors for Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 23 (FBCMUD 23) have contracted the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office (FBCSO) to provide supplemental security to residents in the District.
Residents can request a vacation House Watch by visiting the following link: https://www.fortbendcountytx.gov/government/departments/administration-of-justice/sheriff-s-office/programs/vacation-house-watch and entering the required information. You will then be assigned a “House Watch #” that can be used for managing your scheduled service.
A juvenile curfew is enforced within the boundaries of Fort Bend MUD 23.
Curfew for juveniles under age of 17 is 10:00 p.m.
Resident Update: Horses, ATVs, and Gunfire
Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 23 (FBCMUD 23) values the safety of all residents and visitors and wants to ensure that District property and facilities are well-maintained. To this end, FBCMUD 23 has long maintained certain rules and regulations pertaining to the use of District drainage and detention facilities, as well as recreational spaces, ponds, and trails. These rules and regulations can be found here.
In addition to the obvious dangers of unauthorized vehicle, ATV (3/4 wheelers, go carts) and horse traffic, there is a potential risk of disruption to the land and native plant species. To clarify, unauthorized activity in these spaces is strictly prohibited. Violators will be issued citations and subject to substantial fines.
Additionally, restrictions include discharging firearms. “If you see something, say something.” For emergencies, (including the discharging of firearms) always dial 9-1-1! For non-emergencies such as residential off roading and horseback riding, please call the non-emergency number: (281) 341-4665.
