Missouri City Ground Water Reduction Plan (GRP) Rate Increase
Residents of Fort Bend Municipal Utility District 23 (FBMUD 23) will see an increase starting with their November, 2023 water bills. The rate increase is due to Missouri City’s Ground Water Reduction Plan (GRP) rate increase. It is effective as of October 1, 2023.
Previous Fee: $2.15 per 1000 gallons of water
New fee: $2.39 per 1000 gallons of water
The fee appears on your FB MUD 23 water bill as “GRP Fee”, as shown below:
FBMUD 23 elected to join the Missouri City Ground Water Reduction Plan in July of 2008 to satisfy the Texas Legislative conversion mandates implemented by the Fort Bend Subsidence District.
