Resident Update: Horses, ATVs, and Gunfire

Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 23 (FBCMUD 23) values the safety of all residents and visitors and wants to ensure that District property and facilities are well-maintained. To this end, FBCMUD 23 has long maintained certain rules and regulations pertaining to the use of District drainage and detention facilities, as well as recreational spaces, ponds, and trails. These rules and regulations can be found here.

In addition to the obvious dangers of unauthorized vehicle, ATV (3/4 wheelers, go carts) and horse traffic, there is a potential risk of disruption to the land and native plant species. To clarify, unauthorized activity in these spaces is strictly prohibited. Violators will be issued citations and subject to substantial fines.

Additionally, restrictions include discharging firearms.  “If you see something, say something.” For emergencies, (including the discharging of firearms) always dial 9-1-1! For non-emergencies such as residential off roading and horseback riding, please call the non-emergency number: (281) 341-4665.

Thank you for your help in keeping FBCMUD 23 safe and looking its best. Spread the word by sharing this post with your neighbors on Facebook, Twitter, and Nextdoor!
