Best Trash is now providing Curb Side Trash Collection and Recycling Services in Fort Bend MUD 23. Residents with complaints to report to Best Trash should email comments to firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the website at best-trash.com. The subject line should be the home address and the email message should specify the exact date of the incident so that Best Trash can address the issue with the correct crew. The following information is for your review and convenience.
Type of Collection
Refuse will be collected two (2) days per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Containers and bags shall be placed at their collection points by 7:00 a.m. on the designated collection days. Refuse is defined as waste generated inside the house. Items must be either in light weight metal, plastic containers or sturdy plastic trash bags. Containers and bags should not exceed fifty (50) pounds. All permanent trash containers, after being emptied will be returned to their point of origin in the same condition in which they were taken, normal wear and tear expected.
Heavy Trash Waste Collection – Bulky Waste Items
Furniture and Appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers), will be picked up each week on the second scheduled pick-up day (Saturday). Excluding all hazardous waste, carpet, and construction debris resulting from remodeling or demolition operations. By Federal Law, refrigerators and freezers or any other items containing Freon must be drained of Freon and have an accompanying bill to validate such service was performed.
Yard and Tree Waste
Tree, shrub and brush trimmings must be bundled in lengths no greater than four (4) feet and weighing less than forty (40) pounds and branches with a maximum diameter of three (3) inches, and placed at the curb as part of normal collections. The bundling is required to allow quick pick up and size limitations are required to avoid damaging the equipment in the crushing process.
Gasoline, motor oil and used oil filters, paint and other similar liquids, vehicle tires and batteries, and large pieces of metal such as car fenders or engines. Debris from construction and remodeling such as carpet rocks, bricks, concrete, dirt, sand, gravel, roofing, lumber, fence boards, and large pieces of glass also cannot be collected. Potentially dangerous materials such as sharp objects, glass, metal, and the like should be properly identified and separated from other trash and/or double wrapped to avoid potential injury to the loader.
The Fort Bend County Recycling Center located at 1200 Blume Road in Rosenberg does accept household hazardous materials (HHW) that Best Trash cannot remove. For information regarding these services contact the Fort Bend County Solid Waste Hotline at 281-342-3039.
Hours of Operation – Collection of refuse shall not start before 7:00 a.m. or continue after 5:00 p.m. on the same day.
Best Trash may decide to observe any or all of the holidays listed below by suspension of collection service on the holiday. In the event the holiday falls on your pick-up day, collection will be made on the next regular scheduled pick-up day.
